Originally released as a CD, this landmark recording features world-renowned sitar maestro Shujaat Khan, the son of legendary Vilayat Khan, alongside the virtuosic tabla accompaniment of Enayet Hossain.

This special edition marks a significant milestone for Aimrec, as it launches our vinyl initiative, bringing back the essence of our earliest recording sessions. Excellence on the Sitar was the album that started it all for Aimrec, setting the foundation for our journey into Indian classical music. To honor that legacy, we've remastered the album specifically for vinyl, ensuring that every note resonates with clarity and warmth unique to this format.

With this release, we not only celebrate the timeless artistry of Shujaat Khan and Enayet Hossain but also aim to provide listeners with an enriched, high-fidelity listening experience.
