Maestro Indradeep is a rare Indian Classical Violinist and the only Viola player who uses a special five-string Violin and an eight-string Viola, designed after the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, producing a richer tone and resonance.

He has performed worldwide at important events like the 10th Asia Festival in Barcelona, SXSW in Austin, Learn Quest in Boston, Tansen-Tyagaraja Festival in India, Festival Du Bout Du Monde in France, YOMAD Festival in Croatia, and the Yoga—Vidya Music Festival in Germany. He has worked with several renowned western musicians, including Grammy-winning Kora player Mama Dou Diabate, famous drummer Steve Smith, jazz organist Tony Monaco, and flutist Pedro Eustache.

He has performed across Europe, including Germany, France, Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, Denmark, Croatia, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, as well as in the USA. He is an "A" grade artist with All India Radio and regularly performs for national radio and TV in India. He has released many Classical and Fusion Music albums. Notably, he is the first Indian violinist to release a commercial viola album titled “Tribute to Miyan Tansen on Viola.” He also contributed to the album Melodic Intersect: One Vision, which won the Akademia Music Award in January 2016. He created two new Ragas, Ganapati and Indradhanush, which have received great appreciation from fans and listeners globally.
